HsmomTN As a mom of three girls, I can tell you that scolding doesn't work. It just seems to make them understand that if they do it, then they get more attention. For my girls, when they talked back to me, I would simply tell them that it was rude for them to do it...

How do you think about "White Lie", or lie for the good? Do you think that lying can become something that is justified and not "guilty" when used for good?

HsmomTN White lies are not really a problem in general. To keep "peace in the family" or with friends, we often tell them because the people who we are dealing with cannot handle the truth. But unfortunately, once you start to tell a lie, you have to remember that lie...

What if there was no internet?

What if just today.. internet is no more. The whole network just shut down because of a virus (hypothetically). No more mylot, no more, facebook, no more chatting, online ordering, video streaming EVERYTHING WOULD BE GONE right...

HsmomTN I would not have a problem with it. People depend on technology too much right now anyways. It would be great to see how many people could actually function without the internet right now. I use the net off and on throughout the week, just for surveys. My kids...
