With the amount of digital media available to us, do you think society will eventually do all their reading on some sort of electronic media. Will we eventually have no use for paper books?

JillianBillington I have to aggree with about the feel of a book. I must admit, I love the smell of a book, especially the old ones, and ones with parchement pages or onion skin pages. There is something special about these, don't you think so.

A freind of mine has to take their child to a Phsyciatrist on a regular basis, as the child has a mental illness. The cost per visit is $180.00 and that is a reduced rate because the mother does not have a lot of money. This is...

JillianBillington Yes, the reputation of the school is at stake, but drugs is against the law. The school does not have the right to decide how it should be dealt with. The law is clear. Thank you for your comments.

JillianBillington I agree, dealing drugs is a crime. We don't know if there were other adults or kids involved and the police could have investigated this. I think perhaps the school in question was more concerned about their image being portrayed to the public, as this would...

JillianBillington I can understand your dismay in this matter, but I don't think crying the day away would help. Neither does hiding, if this was your child what would your opinion and course of action be.

JillianBillington I hope I am wrong too, I believe there is room for both. But there may come a time when we have to seriously look at replacing paper with something else. I hope its a long time off though.

JillianBillington So is reading about getting information, whether that be a story or research etc. Or is it about creating a feeling while reading.
