Just an Ordinary Owl? Read the Guidelines. Discussions about grilled cheese might be recipes. Discussions about why some discussions may get deleted may already be answered in the FAQs or the Guidelines and so are NOT discussions. Understand what distinguishes a 'discussion'...

My comutper freezes when I turn it on!!

I think I need some help here...everytime I turn my laptop on, it freezes so I have to pull the plug out & once it hits low battery, my computer unfreezes so I plug it back in & it's fine...to try & fix the problem, I have cleaned...

moonchild1au I know, it doesn't make sense to me too...it's a laptop & I'm running on xp...basically as soon as the computer boots up & loads xp, it freezes...it's not overheating as the fans kick in when they need to.

I haven't been here in while but I'm obviously not a noob and thought I knew how to do pretty much everything here. But why can't I change my website/address? I'm on the right page, I change the name of the site and the URL...

Marie Anne Hmmm ... I just hit 'enter' after typing the name of the site and it refreshed the page, back to the old name. Same with URL, I hit enter after pasting the new URL in that spot, hit enter and hada, went right back to the old URL. I'm spinning my wheels...
