I am an Indian and sometime I feel proud on it but some time I feel shame as India is a country where people worship godess Saraswati but do not send their daughter to school ,where people worship godess Laxmi but do not want that...

jaishankar @Komalmodi341,You are right,but now our country is changing fast.Girls are now going to schools and colleges.They have even joining army which has so far been a male bastion.

DJ I agree with you @Komalmodi341. Although I belong to a family who doesn't interfere with my education and my career choices yet there are certain restrictions that are put on a girl while the sons are allowed more freedom.
