Masonka2 The only thing i can recommend is if you have try everything and nothing work or helps try flushing iPod and download all the music back in. that will resets all the setting back to normal.

Masonka2 UM if your iPod not keeping a charge with USB its probably the USB that is bad, have you try charging with different cord not USB and if its charging fine then it is your USB that is bad.... try that see how it goes.
