Explorer I know only the hard way. If you are saying your legs are nascular then don't worry. Cardio will burn fat not muscle.

M.-L. Find a mate and learn together. Reading texts is important, of course, but what really helps is *talking* about the topics you have to know. You can do this in pairs or even in a small group. Read texts and then discuss them.

o_o When I'm studying something, I usually sit on a comfortable chair and turn on some slow music. And remember, don't do reading when you're sleepy. It only causes you more sleepy and nothing will to go to your brain.
