Are In-ear headphones harmful?

Nowadays many in-ear headphones are available,and Im also planning to buy one but I'm afraid it might damage the eardrum coz its placed very near to it.Does it cause any hearing loss?

Pathfinderr The in-ear headphones actually damages the ear drum when it is used continuosly in a high volume. It also damages the brain when in prolonged use.

Pathfinderr Zaheer Khan played for RC and Robin Uthappa played for MI. As RC wanted to make their batting stronger they exchanged Zaheeer for their own Robin Uthappa in season 2.

i have read all the books in the series n also seen all the movies released till now ............... i think even though both the movies n books are tremendously marvellous.still sometimes i feel movies alone cant help you...
