Reading more than one book at a time

I have been known to read 4 or 5 books at a time. Some people find this weird or crazy. For me as long as the books are very different in plot line or in characters than it's easy. I do this because sometimes one book gets dull...

Cahaya Yeah - my sister. I remember reading an article some time ago that describes different kinds of readers and seems like you're under the "Polygamist reader" category. I'm somewhere between "Introvert" and "Altruist" reader, hehe.

Porcospino I don't find it weird. I do the same thing. When I was a child my parents told me that it was a bad habit. They said that I should finish one book before I read the next, but I didn't listen 30 years later I still read many books at the same time,...

Porcospino I loved those books when I was a child. I always asked my parents to read them aloud. I don't remember the details of the stories anymore, but I remember how much I enjoyed them.

What is your favorite Genre of reading material?

I'm currently addicted to Paranormal Romance. I have a great love for the supernatural and can't stop reading about it. I also enjoy reading anything that is mystery, thriller, horror, and sometimes just romance.
