i currently have a graphics driver by nvidia installed, but i need to get directx on instead. could anyone give me a quick walk-through on how to do this?

PyroBoy89 thanks for all the help everyone. followed everyone's directions/suggestions, but i still can't get my game to work. ah well. and its not my hardware. that exceeds the requirements for the game, so i really have no clue what to do now....

So... we recently had to reformat our computer and start from scratch. the only real problem we've encountered since then is that we have no sound. we've already checked the speakers, volume settings, all that. really the only...
