How to keep knives shiny, and rust free?

My knives are alway rust after using for sometimes and I do not know how to get rid of the rust and had to buy new knives. Is there anyway I can keep them shiny and rust free???

Rollalola I use my hubby's metal cleaner, lol . they sell it here: http://www.superslickstuff.com/ it works great! no grease or anything like that, the spray is very clean, and even helps with finger smudging. I use it on my refrigerator's finish too.

So, I was boiling water in a silver kettle... although due to my memory probs, i forgot about it and it burnt.. my mom really liked this pot lol and i had to clean it asap!! So if this happens to anyone, or if you just need to...

removing rust fast

Rollalola I've used a spray lubricant that's known to remove rust, and it actually orks It's called superslickslickstuff and you can find it here http://www.superslickstuff.com/ just make sure you wash your pan out well after you use it :P

Rollalola I've used a spray lubrican that;s known to clean rust off, and it actually works. check out the super slick slick stuff on this page http://www.superslickslickstuff.com/ just make sure once you remove the rust, to clean the pot very well:)
