devylan Yes, this sounds delightful! Have you ever heard of apple pie a la mode? It's a warm slice of apple pie with a scoop of vanilla icecream on top! Yummmmmmm.

devylan Yes, I do think lemon juice would work. It also helps prevent slices of apple from browning like they can tend to do. Okay, my recipe is as follows: Slice the apple as you did before and squeeze maybe just a quarter of a lemon onto it. I wouldn't soak them...
