Any software to convert image file to word file ?

Is there any good software that can do this? The images are in gif format and I need t o convert those to MS word files.

Sorry, tbh the last time I worked with OCR's was a while ago... Your best bet is Google "Top Free ware OCR" or "Best Free ware OCR"... and get some opinions there... but hope this helped a bit at least.

O sorry about that I misunderstood the question... There are OCR applications on the internet, if the image quality is good it should be able to read most of the typed text and convert it. Just Google a free ware OCR program.
