Over the past ten years that I’ve lived in my house, I have had just two trick or treaters. It just isn’t done so much over here in the uk. I wondered - are you guaranteed trick or treaters where you live?

cmoneyspinner @SimiWolfie - No apology needed. You caused me to think of many sweet things. He left me when I was 17 years old. That's been close to 50 years. But like how you feel about your father, I miss mine too. Thank God for the memories that I have....

cmoneyspinner @SimiWolfie - Your memories must be sweet. Your dad sounds like a tech wizard. My memories of my late father was as a kind scholarly gentleman. He read a lot and was a very "gentle" man. Never heard anybody say anything bad about him.

Sitting here watching TV and next thing you know the news turns on with a man that killed 6 people in Manhattan on there bikes..and they close down the twin towers for now and other places around the area..so sad to see this.

Hillary Ralston @SimiWolfie it is so bad here with all the killings and crime that we have..and we do handle things very poorly..if we changed things up a bit I don't think it would be bad.

Iam not ready for this weather just yet. We have had a nice fall and its bren warmer than usual. Well i looked outside and it is snowing out. I hope it doesn't stick.
