Do you ever make a mistake when cooking?

When you make a mistake putting to much salt, Pepper or Sugar, how do you handle this, do you throw it away, add something to make it turn out alright? I don't think you can do anything if you put in too much of those...

Snowlyluo I seldom cook...when I really do,I always miss sth.like salt,water,etc.As for salt,it is easy to deal with for me:add to the dish if I forget to do it previously,or add water to the dish if it is very salty...The result is that nobody dare to touch the dish...
