I'm sick of the term "African-American". If you were an AA, you would actually need to be born IN AFRICA. Unless you have dual citizenship, or if you were not born in Africa, you are NOT an African-American. Maybe an American...

TopDawg216 I understand the coming about through history, but I think you're off on the Jewish part. That's a religion thing. We don't call them Hebrew or Israeli-Americans unless they are straight from Israel or if they hold dual-citizenship.

Have you ever done it? Are you thinking about it? I ask because I've been giving some serious thought to switching from XP to Linux (not sure which distribution yet). The ideal situation for me would probably be a dual boot...

TopDawg216 Excellent response! Now, when booting from the Ubuntu CD, will its installation program do the partitioning by itself, or do I have to do this before installing?

TopDawg216 I've heard a lot about Ubuntu lately. I checked out their site last week, and I was pretty impressed. I'm looking for a build that is user-friendly, but still has ultimate functionality (I do a LOT of different stuff on the computer).

TopDawg216 I've been in that situation before, and I know that it is not fun. What you really need to do is do what's going to make YOU happy. It is never fun to hurt someone's feelings, or to tell them that you do not like them, but you have to do what is in your own...
