Vegtamr I'm not using XP, but it's basically the same: never really trusted Windows Firewall and by now I'm using Zonealarm since... well, at least 8 years. Never had any problem with it.

Does surfing PTC sites puts your computer at risk?

I have been doing PTC sites for almost a year and there are times that my computer gets affected with trojans and viruses. Is it possible that I get it from the PTC sites or advertisements that I view?

Vegtamr Well, it seems like you're talking about RAT, more than about spywares. A spyware usually is a small progrma, that installs on your computer and keep track of whatever you're doing in internet: sites you visit, things you search and so on. Then, they'll use...
