Writer Ruth That sounds like a Hawaii meal. 2 main starches. There is a commercial on TV here where a guy gets his order of spaghetti, and garlic bread and he looks back and forth between the server and his food and finally says, "Where's the rice?"

Writer Ruth I visited England over 30 years ago and that is when I learned that they put milk in their tea. I had not realized that before. lol I started doing that then and have been doing it ever since and really enjoy it. I actually use cream. yum

Writer Ruth ABC stores can be fun for souveniers. They have all kinds of fun jewlery and trinkets and pearls that are inexpensive. Hawaii is expensive for food in general. Safeway has always been our "go to" grocery store!
