My 6 year old grandson read over 100 books this summer....

He just entered the first grade...He read over 100 books and received a certificate from the library....and he chose a book for a prize and they had stickers and other stuff too! He is such a good reader...We checked out books...

appleandrew wow thats amazing not alot of people can do that i think this summer i read a page in a book but even if i tried i couldnt do 100 unless they were kid books like 20 pages long.

My son's birthday -how can it be celebrated ?

My son is urging us to celebrate his 6th birthday at home inviting his classmates for launch or dinner and making marry with them . He himself has chalked out what exactly is to be done , how big should be the B/Day cake etc....

appleandrew During Sept 11 2001 is actually in 4th grade in class. And they stopped the whole day and turned on the tv and all we did was watch the news about it. And when i went home my parents were watching it and so basiclly all i did that day was watch the news

Do you answer the phone/door if you don't know who it is?

I don't usually. If I don't recognize the phone number, I figure they will leave a message if it is important. If I don't know who is at the door and I'm alone, no way am I opening it. I don't like to be bothered by salespeople or...

appleandrew I always do i dont really care who it could be or is. always nice to talk to people and maybe meet someone new. I dont usally answer the door cause they could come in and kill everyone if i dont no them. but the phone i really dont care cause nothing bad can...
