I've been to all the usual big tourist places. What are some kind of cool little towns or sights to see in FL. I like to take "exploring trips" with my boys. We will have time this summer,so maybe we can visit some of the quieter...

BeachTime That sounds pretty good. I think my sister talked abt this one time. Do you see any gators? I hate those stupid things. I wish they would just fry them up and make belts & purses out of them. I can't turn around without seeing one of those "endangered"...

BeachTime It's not Venice Beach. It's off Sarasota Bay. I think it's closer to St. Armand's Square, Lido Key area. I went there abt 15 yrs ago. It is a pretty neat place with the research and animal rescues.

My DS has been Metadate CD 20mg for quite awhile now. He was upped to 30mg. He has been having severe constipation lately. It doesn't say this is a side effect, but have anyone else has this happen to their kid?

BeachTime I did basically that same thing at 20. I was no longer a teen who people would say "oh she did that stupid thing because she's a dumb teenager" uhoh I had to be an adult. It really was not one of my better days. I can't imagine feeling bad for being 20 now....

BeachTime Well, it's not our imagination, people are leaving in droves. I heard on the radio talk show today that was talking abt shifts in the US population. They talked abt FL is losing population for 2 reasons: 1) cost of housing 2) people are sick of the illegals....

BeachTime I live in SW FL. HOme of the super rich and the working poor. My little town has changed so much in the past 15 yrs. I have such a love/hate with this area. I love the warm weather, really can't take cold weather. But the cost of living keeps going up and up....

BeachTime PsychoDude - how does this make him any less of the father? The law is the law and he's got to help pay for the food/clothes/education of his offspring! End of discussion.
