mantiz well, i don't think students must be punished for sleeping in class.. i'm not saying this because i'm a student myself.. however, i can suggest you a solution from a student's point of view.. the only way to keep students from sleeping is to make the class...

April wow! corporal punishment !! Hun..there may be a bigger story that you dont know about going on at home..it could be family problems..health problems..and that age alone is stress enough to wipe a child out..or maybe that student has taken on more than they can...

meholl yes, I would find out from the students if there are factors which contribute to sleeping in class. I would find an appropriate discipline to fit the crime. The most important part is that these students are getting the assignments done, with good grades....

nyumix I think it is not really good for your stomach to eat really late in the night. I did it few times when I was really busy few months ago, but I can feel the difference in my stomach compare to when I eat in the evening like this time.
