They put a port in for me yesterday. Of course, I'm being siily, there won't be any ships in my port. It's a PowerPort actually. It will be used to give me chemo and to draw blood as needed. You can read about it at Wikipedia....

pelastikbintang What is mastectomy?could u explain about it? Chemotherapy duration is depending on ur body response to the drugs. Hope u get well soon and never give up!!(^___^)

Beertjie I do not have a port as yours but I do have a fistula. That is also for access for needles to get blood. I have kidney failure and recieve dialysis treatment, maybe you know what it is. Two 2mm thick needles get stuck in my arm, the blood circulates out,...

peavey How cute! Kids can really come up with words that explain what they mean, can't they? Yes, I do "yarn." I knit quite a bit. I enjoy making blankets as well as clothing and household things.

inkstainedheart That is so cute! Yes, I yarn a little. I mostly crochet, but I have tried knitting. I think I'm better with crochet because I have to get my fingers working, and just using the knitting needles is difficult for me.

ElicBxn that is cute I crochet a bit, but what I used to do is make cross stitch baby bibs. At least until I found a cheap, easy sewing method of making bibs with a wash cloth, now when I hear someone has a baby, I give those.

MysD If I am at home then I often have a nap in the afternoon especially in the cooler months. I think 'why not?' if I feel like it. Whatever I should be doing will still be there when I wake up so I can do it later when I am refreshed from my nap. It does no harm...
