Fruit as viand?

What fruit do you think can be partnered to rice or can be an alternative for viand? For me, banana and rice is good, even pineapple and rice will do too. Quite weird but it's true. Any idea? Please share.. :)

cherrysuisui In tranditional thinking in China, we seldom eat fruit as viand. We usually eat them after we have meals. Now, more and more articals and people tell us we need eat fruit before the meal about 1 hour, after the meal about two hours or eat them at the morning....
