CheshireGrin Go to www.petfinder.com they have a listing of tons of animals in local shelters and rescues all over the US. Most are $50-$300. I hope I helped!

CheshireGrin I can't tell you what kind of dog to get but I do know that poodles and dogs with the same sort of hair do not shed. You could find more by googling 'hypoallergenic dogs' even if you don't have allergies, those are the ones that mostly don't shed.

CheshireGrin I learned tiny bits from my grandmother and uncle when I was very young. I'm mostly teaching myself now with cookbooks and websites. Its pretty fun, especially since there are quite a few foods that my fiancee can't have, so I have to find replacements.
