How does one get their discussion into "Today's Hot Topics" ?

I haven't figured this one out as yet.. Is it the number of responses ? or is it a "+" rating to their post ? Or does some one actually pick some of the discussions and put them up as Hot Topics..? Has anyone else figured this...

I loved Dash -- absolutely lovable.. ! The scene I like the most.. is when the neighborhood kid shouts out -- "That was totally wicked!!" towards the end of the movie.
