What's new with me? My husband and I had our first Christmas with no exchange of gifts. It was still fabulous and fun. We spent time with family and had great food. We didn't stress over 'finding' something to put under the...

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is cold and clear here at the Jersey Shore. I am up and about to head out for the Strongman Saturday workout. I almost overslept because apparently I didn't set the...

I'm finding the older I get, the less I need a lot of friends and instead need good ones. I've had my feelings hurt by several "friends" in the last year and am slowly realizing that it's ok to let them and their stuff go! These...

Laurel (L_B) The older I get the less tolerance I have for drama. I only have a few friends and I am fine with that. The less people I have in my life the less drama I have to deal with. I have been betrayed by people I truly trusted and thought were my friends and since...

Aileen Lopez Yes. I only have a few ones. I'm struggling to find real friends. Most of them are just party friends, some are fake, some are only good while you're still beneficial to them.

Linda Mansfield (Snowdrop) I think things change as you get older. I used to have lots of "friends", or so I thought, but now I realise they were just acquaintances. They will disappear and only the true friends will stick by you. I would say I only have 3 good friends that I know would...

NJ Chicaa I would spend a whole day making the meat sauce and then assembling the lasagna and baking it. . . and my husband would joke that Stouffer's was just as good. I wanted to murder him. I don't think I could buy a pre-made lasagna but I definitely see how it...
