DIXIGRL try to not pick her up but keep her in her bed and sooth her. once she is calm then walk back out. By picking her up you are letting her call the shots. I also realize this may mean you have to continually go in there and this may last for many nights, but...

My oldest nephew will be 4 years old in a little over a month. I haven't the slightest clue what to buy him because he has everything. I've always wanted to be the fun aunt and not buy boring things. You know...money for savings...

DIXIGRL a small suggestion on that.. if they don't do anything like th zoo or anything with the kids... cut out the excuses. Give them a family membership to the zoo for a year as a christmas present.. and make sure its a family membership with a guest so ou can tag...

DIXIGRL Neville can not be Voldemorts nemesis. It has to be Harry. Dumbledore made that perfectly clear in HBP (book 6) Voldemort "marked" harry as his equal, thus the prophecy dictates its harry not neville that must defeat voldemort...
