Can drinking enough water help me maintain my weight?

My friend, who is a son of a fitness gym instructor told me all i have to do is to drink a lot of water to maintain my weight. But water is heavy, it may just add my weight. Did I make sense?

I notice captain did not possessed great skills compared to other heroes. he just keep in ordering in the battle. Have you noticed it too?
