why don't long distance relationship last?

I have always seen people breaking up when they have to live far from eachother. Why is that?? What do you guys think??

fareastman I guess the saying "Out of sight, out of mind", explains it all. They used to say, "absence makes the heart grow fonder", but now, it is "absence makes the heart forget".
