Fenja1 Frontline works great for my dogs. You apply it once a month and it kills ticks as well as fleas. It also protects against heartworm.

Fenja1 The microchip does not cause any pain. My dog didn't even seem to feel the needle when the chip was injected.

Fenja1 I have been in this type of situation and I reported it. I would do it again too. The abuser is most likely killing the pet slowly in an inhumane manner. I think it would be best for the pet to end up in a shelter with a chance of getting a happy home....
