fodschwazzle A power nail driver is a monster of a tool, but a cordless screw driver is really great too. Carpal tunnel syndrome caused by too much old fashioned Phillips screwdriver usage is not so fun.

fodschwazzle Absolutely. Actually I hadn't even considered a computer, since it does so much that it almost feels like an organ of my body, so nice one.

Ever heard of that expression? Sure, it's animal cruelty and all, but what "other" ways to skin a cat can you think of, without actually doing it. I boil the cat so the skin gets nice and supple.

fodschwazzle I am aware of the meaning, and the original usage. It's an axiom, like "the pot calling the kettle black." Maybe it would have been less sarcastic of me if I had asked why we use phrases like that when realistically, we don't really know of a whole lot of ways...
