gambama I sometimes think "global warming" is a misnomer. I think a better name is "global extremes". On the other hand, the polar ice caps are melting and shrinking, and here we have had an extremely warm winter.

gambama How about heating your water? Here in Israel, solar water heaters are fairly standard. The technology has been around for years. It is a lot less complicated than generating electricity. It makes a real dent in our electric bills.
