Is anyone on here freaking out over H1N1 or the Swine Flu??? It makes me a little nervous, seems like everyone in my area that keeps getting it are around my age. We have had no cases in my city or county yet. It is kind of weird...

ganderlot I'm glad you brought up the fact that 30,000 people (I heard higher but still) die each year from the flu people don't seem to recognize that. I do think we have more strains of different viruses each year so I'm not concerned with the Swine Flu in general....

I was just watching the news, and unless they are wrong Goldman Sachs just gave bonuses that were more than the money they received from the government. Apparently the other banks are doing the same thing but not to the same...

I just read an article about how whales are mating :-) The scientists found that the male whale have two special teeth at the outside of their mouth. The females use the shape of the teeth to select males to mate with them....

ganderlot I guess it matters somewhat. I have a mate now though and he's always complaining about his teeth. We can't afford to get them fixed.. but I hate it because he hates to smile because he's so self-conscious.

Almost all of the Asterix comics are my favorites.But among them my most favorite comic is Asterix and the Normans.The story is so captivating and the jokes are excellent.You can also give your opinion here

With 3 million people in the country you could take the money for the Auto Bailout and pay each American 1 million dollars. That would most likely help the economy and I'm sure the employees of the 3 companies that aren't bailed...

ganderlot But the proposal for GM and Chrysler alone, excluding Ford, was 15 billion. I guess I should have worked it out myself before I posted, now you know why I mostly respond to discussions rather than create them. Regards

ganderlot Actually someone else gave me the calculation. I'll have to check it with him. I know the estimated bailout for Chrysler and GM was 15 billion and the population of the United States is 301,139,947. I'm afraid I'll have to get my calculator out. I still...
