I find myself wanting to stay home and surf the internet, knit, or watch tv rather than going out to dinner or shopping or whatever. I even get annoyed when I feel I have to go out. Just in case you may ask, no, I'm not depressed...

glenl62 i to am a big fan of the authors you mentioned, i have read the stand and desperation. have you read "the regulators"?i think its supposed to be a sequel to desperation. but, its pretty good. also try, "IT". it's great !!!

glenl62 i to love horror books, my favs are stephen king, john carpenter, and dean koontz. as far as vampire books, the only one who comes to mind is anne rice.
