hardcoresata It's WINDOWS 7, my friend. It's a revamped version of Windows Vista (a hell lot faster and RAM efficient). The latest PC World Magazine contains all the info you need about WINDOWS 7. I hope you find my answer helpful. ^^

Formatting slows down my computer,is it true??

hardcoresata While browsing the net, I've managed to find that "modified" versions of VISTA are liked upon. Well, that's good news for computer junkies, but what about Microsoft? Does it profit from that. I guess not. ^^

hardcoresata I use Media Player Classic. Although newer versions of WMP offer so much style, it doesn't appeal to me much. VLC and Media Player Classic are the best ones out there, and the best thing is - THEY'RE FREE!

hardcoresata I'm using XP Service Pack 3 right now. It's fresh from the box. Windows 7 BETA is out. It's much more RAM efficient than VISTA.

hardcoresata Well, yeah. Vista is a flop, but good thing is - WINDOWS 7 BETA is out. Microsoft 7 says it will be RAM efficient. Its interface is more or less a bit VISTA, but the useless apps have been taken off and the Aeroglass engine has been revamped! Two thumbs up...
