It seems that the mini mansions are the big thing these days and I get caught up in thinking I need a 3500 sq foot house....what size would your dream home be?

iamawizinscience I think I'd like a home that is all on one level in a ranch or prairie style that is about 4000 square feet. It would have to have a jacuzzi/hot tub and I want to design it myself.

iamawizinscience My heavens....we don't plough with horses anymore!!! Make it a priority and buy a computer so kids don't go through life ignorant. Maybe what was good enough for us when we were young may not be enough to prepare kids for the future world.

iamawizinscience I have taught in public schools as well as parochial schools. Believe me when I tell you religion IS taught in public schools. Public schools teach HUMANISM which means a person decides for themselves what is right and wrong. This leads to chaos when you are...

iamawizinscience I really like target.com and e-bay. But you are right about the shipping stuff... it can kill ya. I notice that those who live close to the border in Niagara Falls have post office boxes to have their items shipped within either Canada or the US...they they...

iamawizinscience Thanks for the advice. I am still an e-bay fan, but you've got to be careful there too. I find some people give a low price on e-bay, but then they charge ridiculous shipping prices. I once bought a rug for $50 and they wanted to ship it for $300 dollars! How...
