Monkeys: our cousins??

Do you believe that we are evolved from apes? Have you noticed any monkeys starting to evolve into people yet? If we evolved from apes..why are they still running around..have some of them failed to become human????

icer01 Many millions of years ago, humans and the living apes shared a common ancestor. We did not evolve FROM chimpanzees etc, both chimpanzees and humans evolved from a distant common ancestor millions of years ago, some other type of ape which is no longer living....

Jurassic Park - can it really happen?

with today's technologies, I think it is very much possible to revive the dinosaurs. Can a Jurassic Park be possible for construction? If there is one would you go?I just hope they would have so much sophisticated control system...

icer01 Sorry, reincarnating dinosaurs is not possible with today's technologies. The DNA has actually broken down too much in the millions of years. Some attempts were made to clone an embryo of a Thylacine aka Tasmanian Tiger, which became extinct in the 1920's....

icer01 It all depends on the definition of 'smart' which varies with each usage. Sometimes smart can be things like street smarts or business instinct, not related to 'intelligence' at all. Also, memorising 'knowledge' for an exam does not mean you are intelligent....
