It seems like my Dell inspiron 6400 laptop has been very overheated lately. I did some research and i found out that it's a very common problem. Do you guys have any solutions?

Dolcerina That is very unbeliavable for me... My laptop sometimes is running continously 24h, and I have never had an experience like this... (Mine is a Fujitsu Siemens laptop)

Rhomen its base on the how you been used..and it is in a adapter or in a battey module....if its overheated over an 8 or 12 hours maybe you fit the capacity of your units

Taskr36 I learned that same fact with my first laptop. I think that's why they've stopped advertising them as laptops and now call them Notebook PCs.

scarywhitegirl You should be able to find a cooling pad for your laptop, which is a thin device that sits underneath your computer and helps to keep it from overheating. Unfortunately, laptops do have a tendency to overheat, which really defeats the idea of them being on...

darkjack There are some programs that allow you to adjust fan speeds and clock speeds to improve that. I stoped using after I upgraded the bios on my laptop, but if you search the web you will find some I guess. Be carefull though, using these programs must be done...

Lydia1901 I am not really picky about my cars. I would just be happy with whichever. All I want in a car is for it to work for a long time.

BinKsBaBy Lowered however lowering your car can cause you many problems too. speed bumps pot holes that normally wouldnt cause your car any damage have the potential to really mess up any of the parts underneth your vechical i just had a speed bump knock my cat....

JBrulez I would prefer the stock height cars because it gives convinience all around.. It won't cause you any problem with humps, bumpy and rocky roads unlike lowered cars do.. It is more spacious and thus it is more relaxing especially when your in a long journey.....

tantal25 Lol yeah, if your car's lowered it gets hot but there were lots of problems too such as humps, bumps, rocks, and holes.
