janabanana8576 I know, I really want a dog too. I realized the same thing though, that they can be pretty high maintenance. I'm starting grad school with a teaching position in the fall, so I figured I shouldn't take on anything that required too much attention.

janabanana8576 Yep, I've noticed this about a lot of the apartments I've been looking at. Plus most shelters require that you at least get your new pet spayed or neutered, so I'll just have to make sure to save up that money before I get my new pet.

janabanana8576 Thanks for the website. I do read a lot of YA fantasy lit, and it does help me a bit. I'm still a bit nervous about jumping into the novel writing process, but I definitely should just put those nerves behind me and go for it.
