I just joined Google, but I don't know what advantages are there to join Google. Is it a information site, a site to make money? I really don't know. Hope someone can tell me exactly what I am getting into.

jayceeg1987 thanks for clarifying.. maybe this is what he really meant. he might have signed up for 1 of googles services. and the only once that will make money would be adsense and adwords as far as i know.

jayceeg1987 i have given them advise several times and majority of them still refuse and find it boring not to smoke. but other than that i still want them as friends.. they are kind and approachable. i wish your father will stop smoking soon for your sake as well.

jayceeg1987 that is right. that's the plan i came up with and is a little hard to do.. imagine holding your breath everytime they blow the smoke.. i don't find it comfortable but it is somehow working.

jayceeg1987 that's true. i have been firm not to light a single stick of cigarette for those years and yet because of these friends of mine i am facing an equal danger for that of a first hand smoker. you are right. i also hope to find friends who does not smoke.

jayceeg1987 Thanks.. that's true, second hand smoke is a risky a the main smokers'. It is just that they have been close friends and I find it awkward to always ask them to stop or avoid smoking when I am around so what I do is just hold my breath every time they blow it....

jayceeg1987 That's right. It;s a little bit of hard work though. I need to have the courage and confidence to say "no" in a way that is convincing. I hope that in time i will be able to still gain their trust even after I say no.

jayceeg1987 True. This question has become just a gesture of courtesy or politeness and most of the time, the person asking do not really care about how you do. Silly but true. But there are those whose intention is authentic when they ask how you do.

jayceeg1987 toyota4k and ajithlal thanks. I agree with you. It is going to help develop ourselves to be a stronger and independent person. And yes, ajithlal, a balance of both well make it a lot easier for us.
