Okay, when I didn't have a pet, I swore to people that I would never kiss my pets on the face. However, since I had Fluffy, she has been like my little child, being that I can't have human children of my own. I just can't help it...

I was just thinking and I believe the last two people standing will be the David's both of them. Them to me seem to be the best. Who do you think are the two best?

jbrowsin66 I agree that age is on the side of David Cook. I'd like to see David Archuleta again in 7 years --still though, I think he'll win it. For sure both of them will get recording contracts regardless of the outcome of this show.

I looked online though and found a homemade version that was just as good. It's brown sugar, white sugar and water boiled together, then you add corn syrup, vanilla and maple flavoring. Very easy. Has anyone done this before and...

jbrowsin66 The same here --I've been paring things down by trying to make recipes specifically with items that I want to get rid of that I already have. It's working, but going slow! After that I'm going to be better. I guess I got into the habit of buying multiple items...

jbrowsin66 I like having my husband come with me shopping and lugging all of it home, though he will put it a lot of extra things in the cart NOT on my list and we end up with too much.

jbrowsin66 I know --sometimes I go when I'm hungry or just for a "few" things, and end up spending too much. Better to shop for the whole week or month and take a list.

jbrowsin66 It's funny that I should notice that other people don't have lists... I also have a funny habit of looking at what people have in their carts... it sort of gives away a bit of their personality and definitely tells you how healthy they are!
