jdmcclaskey I have Hydrocephalus along with Spina Bifida. Have had both since birth, 24 years. I have had 50 shunt surgeries just in the last 9 years. I have also had 3 *pain in the a$$* shunt infections. I know several, several people with this condition.

jdmcclaskey I have Chiari Malformation type 2. Narcotics are not the answer! Ask about Topamax. I have heard very good things about it. I am on Amitriptyline to kinda help level out the pressure in my head, but technically that is an anti depressant. I have been on it...
