Raúl Reyes Well, as I said, papelon and panela are nothing more than boiled cane juice and solidified without chemical additives, and of course there will always be sugars but, logically, in a large percentage less than extrarefined white sugar.

Raúl Reyes @Janet357 Right now, because of the difficult socioeconomic situation of the country, papelon or panela is a cheaper alternative to refined sugar, but not much.
