kdhartford Thanks for your comment! I do wish I had some musical ability, but I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Anyways, I think your comment about exploring is important. You never know where your talents lie until you find them.

kdhartford Thanks for the comment. I used to play the guitar, I wish that I had stuck to it...but other things took over my interests. Keep it up. Experts agree that it takes about 10,000 hours of practice to be truly good at something.

kdhartford Thank you for your comment. When I think about it, I might say that I have a multitude of talents. I am also a good cook...at least my wife tells me so, probably to get me to cook more:)

kdhartford I agree. Life is hard. I think in the modern world we tend to forget what a fragile thing life is. I think that accepting that life is hard and still maintaining a positive attitude is the secret. Thanks for your comment.

kdhartford I'm with you on finding cheap books. I kind of like the idea of the internet in selling books, but I'm also kind of nostalgic in liking to feel and handle the book. Heck, I usually read half the book before I leave the store.

kdhartford Books are expensive and overpriced everywhere. I will usually only buy a new book, if I have a discount or coupon. I have a stack of books to read right now; got to have something to learn.

kdhartford I agree with you in regards to the marking up of books. I have tons of hard cover books that I use. Believe me, if someone asks me about a subject, I probably have a book on it.

kdhartford I agree that having a hard copy of a book is kind of special. I'm not a big fan of e-books, maybe I'm old fashioned. There is something about the feel, smell, and look of a good old-fashioned book.
