kimberlylynn It is a bad habit! I try to tell them bugs will come around from the food, and they will hurt themselves when they step on toys and break things. The funny thing is that my kids love to help me clean the rest of the house, but won't clean up their area.

kimberlylynn shelters have good and bad points. It's just nice to be able to take one in a room as long as you want instead of getting one home and discovering it doesn't like you. A pet can really be a big decision. Good luck!

We just adopted a new puppy from the shelter. I didn't intend to get a puppy, I wanted an older dog but I have been searching and most of them were not good with kids or had some other issue that would not work with our family....

kimberlylynn Thanks for checking back - Ollie is training like a pro! He whines at night if he has to go out now, I am so amazed by it. I think everyone's tips were so helpful, it was just as matter of taking him directly out of cage to outside at the same spot every hour...

I must be getting old, I can no longer eat pizza without taking an antacid. I never had to do this when I was younger. If I forget, I wake up in the middle of the night with heartburn like crazy. It must be the sauce or something...
