kothad there was a time when we believed that the world is made up of black and white...rather white/black,where one is defined by the other, that is white which is not black and vice versa...and that presupposes the virtue and purity of the white and its assumed...

kothad just now i am reading the novel Waiting For Barbarians by J.M Coetzee. it is an amzing novel. it shows how an empire is constructed and how it works and how the empire invents barbarians outside its boundary.

kothad Life is Beautiful is a fine movie. But can it be named the best movie ever made?(not to mention lotr or kal ho na ho!!!). just see Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman...or Bicycle Thief by De Sica or Modern Times by Chaplin or even Citizen Kane!! I must say that...
