luv2cook4u I did get a new mouse before I resorted to smashing the old one with a hammer. I did however spend lots of time smashing the mouse onto the computer desk, which did nothing to fix it nor relieve my stress. Oh well, at least my problem is resolved...for now.

luv2cook4u LOL...That would certainly have made me feel better. I did end up getting a new mouse and then ended up also needing a new keyboard (which has also been replaced). Computers sure make life easier, but they have added a whole new level of frustration as well.
