improving english

Hi, I really need to speak English better. The problem is , I haven't got time for extra lessons or regular study sessions.What else can I do to improve my English? Please tell me what you suggest.

sheetalnr Try conversing in English as far as possible. Also watching Talk shows or speeches or debates or discussions on TV really helps. These suggestions are apart from what Tantrums had to say.

Tantrums English is my second language too.. I improved mine by watching a lot of English and American movies and reading a lot of books... You'll also need a dictionary so that you can look up some words that you don't understand. Hope that I helped! Happy myLotting!

redhotpogo no. currently there are a few old "technology is evil" foggies left. but they're passing on. soon there will be no one buying paper media. books will be the last to go i think, but they too will go. you can fit all the worlds libraries on one tiny disk....

zedlav23 I used to be a regulary buyer of sunday's newspaper. But after I got my internet hooked up, that change the whole thing. I now read the news online although I miss the time when you have to flip it over and see other local advertisements instead of google ads....

deejean06 Hi malkaff...I just heard on the radio today that the New York Time is raising its rates by 50 cents a paper. If the cost continues to rise I don't think that many people will want to buy the paper. They'd much rather get it online or from the tv.

okkidokitokki I only buy the paper when I am going garage saling. The local news around here reads you the paper every morning and so there is no real reason to buy it. I also subscribe to free papers online.
