K.Rajib G. That men hold back their tears for they are afraid of being labelled a weak fellow and it this was to happen it would be a slur on his manliness. This has become sort of 'donts 'for men. They show this manliness to help their pride stand tall. Thanks a lot.....

Galena of course it is. it's acceptable for men to cry at anything a woman can cry over. it's actually an attractive trait, to see someone that hasn't been so damaged and supressed by society that they try and bury their feelings.

celticeagle I really believe there are negative impacts in not having the daily influence of a father or mother in a child's life. It has become the norm for those absenses to be taken into acount in the small psyches of our youth. Sad. Very sad.
