So, I got my son to the dr. Our physicians office is pretty much very efficient. Sons appt was at 10am and he was taken back at about 10:10. First stop is where they weigh you, take blood pressure, check for temp and ask why...

Mary McKinney @AmbiePam Yes it was. And for several years that was the only dr in our town. So it was either go to him or travel 45 minutes one way to see another dr.

Mary McKinney It's not broken but the bone is severed. The finger is starting to look infected. It's swelling and splitting the skin so we will probably end up in Urgent Care. However my doctors office has x ray equipment, an EKG machine and a bone density thing. There...

Yesterday was grocery shopping day so that took up a better part of the day, but before going to the grocery store I went to a local thrift store that benefits the dog shelter here in my city. We have another thrift store here...

Mary McKinney Elvis's granddaugter sued the people who were trying to sell it. They dropped the sell. I can't believe someone thought they could sell that piece of American history.

It's been a rough week here. In my discussion titled Incarcerated I told you about my son being in jail for probation violation. Court for the violation was Tuesday and they sentenced him to 5 years. I know it's his own fault...

I know it seems early but I enjoy an early supper and then a snack around 7pm. I will be having baked potatoes which I put in my crock pot which takes about 2 hours or so. I like using the crock pot for this so that I don't heat...

Mary McKinney That does sound yummy. When I make a big salad I use pickle juice in it and it gives it such a nice flavor.

Mary McKinney It takes it a little longer but in the summer it is such a help not to heat the kitchen up, especially if you don't like them cooked in the microwave.
