my friend accidentally reformatted all the hard disk on my personal computer(3 hdd's),now im using a laptop and i havent saved a copy of all the data that was stored there. would it still be possible for me to recover the data...

matrix_04 well, it would be hard to back up all the data that i have, 2 dvd's are not enough, nor 10.:)

matrix_04 though the recovered data would only be 70-90%, ill have to try this also. thanks.

if a hard disk was literally opened by chance, then the vacuum would be gone, can the data on the the hard disk still be revovered?

matrix_04 are there available programs which you can use to recover the data or they have to do some hardware stuff to recover it?

i've been contemplating on buying one but im not yet that sure.is it really worth the price? i mean, budget is not a problem, im willing to invest on it if it is worth the money.what are the pro's and con's?

matrix_04 yes, technology is fast growing but as for my experience, i bought a whole system like an extreme set up 4 years ago, until now, i havent upgraded the hardwares except add ons on hard drive. its quite nice to be using the extremes for just a moment as for you...

matrix_04 there's a nice idea, a hub or a server for gaming or internet connection. ill also keep that in mind. but as i have mentioned earlier, ill be needing or doing some cpu intensive task, that might be a consideration.

matrix_04 the answer to everything that you have said is "yes". i play computer games a lot and sometimes do stuffs such as video editing wherein movie rendering needs a lot of power. well, ill keep your suggestion in mind. thanks anyway.
